See this guy here, this is me; Gareth James Butcher. I look kinda happy here don’t I?? No, I’m doing another one of these as my Tumblr wall seems to just fill up with people hating on themselves. Listen ladies and gentlemen, there is one thing you should know, you are all so awesome and beautiful in your own way.
Just smile through the hardest parts to really smile through the good times. Underneath this face is a guy who is so self concious that he is actually petrified at the thought of any person on this planet liking him. Well, that was the case at least for the majority of my teenage life. Still affects me to this day, but I think I’m over the main hurdles of actually accepting myself.
You maybe thinking “Shut up you twat, I hate myself because no one likes me”. Well I’ve got news for you, I used to hate myself, sometimes I still do. I mean look at me, I stupidly tall, overweight (not majorly but enough for myself to be unhappy), have long hair and a beard. This means that it polarises what people think of me. I try to be the best human being I can and I think that I actually am a pretty pleasant individual to be around, but because I have such self esteem issues, it makes it that much harder for me to even consider myself worthy enough to ask someone out.
So ladies and gentlemen here’s the thing, yes, you may find yourself disgusting or unpleasant, but remember, there are people out there that like you for who you are, just gotta go find them. With myself, if I ever found a woman who loves stupid amounts of gaming, cuddling and watching random films then I think I’d have a heart attack right there and then.
Remember that if you wanna chat I’m always here and always feel free to drop a line, chat or just swear a lot and make pokemon arguments with me. Much love to all of you, you really don’t know how awesome you all are.
